Fleece Hats

Aaron needed me to fix the pom pom on his hat this morning. I made this one last year and it still fits!

Kaylee fell asleep modeling hers this morning.

Every year I make fleece hats, and every year I e-mail out, or post the link, for instructions on how to make them yourself! These come from Martha Stewart's website. A friend gave me a link when we first moved to Kodiak. They are soooo easy to make! You could easily make one in under 15 minutes. I usually make the pom pom ones, but today I made Kaylee a little one with the corners tied. There are jester ones, vertical and horizontal striped ones, etc.

Joann's had their fleece $2.99/yard the other day! I bought a yard for each of the kids online. Enough to make a fleece throw for Christmas and anything else I can come up with . The boys still have their hats from last year, but Kaylee didn't have one, so I used her new fleece to make a little hat.

  2. Too bad I don't need any fleece hats here! I still have Abby's that you made her when she was born - it's tiny!

  4. Dang! Tiffany and I were just talking about you today and how crafty and creative you are! I am going to do this, especially since you mentioned 15 minutes. It takes me longer than that to blog! :)
