Our Blessings Tree & a Recipe!

We made a "Blessings Tree" for Family Home Evening this week. The kids had fun pasting each leaf on our tree and we have been blessed with MANY things! Everything was cut out on my cricut for easy prep.
(No, I didn't put this upside down for a special effect. I am having issues with blogger today!) I love that Aaron was grateful for fabric. I asked him why and he said, "Because you can make ANYTHING out of fabric!"

Also, a recipe!
Here is a super easy recipe for chicken crescent rolls.
2 packages refrigerated crescent rolls (16 rolls)
2 chicken breasts
1/2 c. fat free cream cheese
1/3 c. diced green onions
Boil and shred chicken breasts. Add cream cheese to warm chicken and mix until softened and melted through. Add green onions.
Evenly distribute chicken mixture onto crescent roll triangles. Roll up and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake @ 350 for 14 minutes.
These make a great dinner or appetizers! They can be served warm or cold.

  1. I tried this for dinner tonight. I liked it a lot. I used the prepackaged chicken & shredded it because I didn't have time to do it your way but it turned out great. My kids make me mad cause they always give me grief when I make dinner. But they ate it & I think Brad "the gourmet chef" thought it was ok too. Thanks for sharing...oh & my crescent roll technique needs some work. I will be doing these again :)

  2. Awesome. You are not alone with the grief thing. I get it almost every night, lol.
