Pie Crust Cookies

To me, pie crust is the best part of the pie! If it is GOOD pie crust! My mom used to take the dough scraps and make cookies out of them. I still like doing that.
Roll out the dough, cut into shapes, spray with butter flavored cooking spray, sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar and bake @ 425 for 6-7 minutes. My kids like these just as much as I do! :)

  1. What a fun idea! Too bad I hardly ever make pie crusts from scratch, the Pillsbury ones are just too easy!

  2. My mom used to do that, too. :) I'd kinda forgotten about it, though. In fact, I made 4 pies this weekend and tossed all the scraps in the chicken bucket...darn! Thanks for the reminder, they look tasty!

  3. Those are super-cute. We always roll it all out, smear it with butter add sugar and cinnamon then roll it up and cut it out like cinnamon rolls...
