My boys are starting school in the next couple of days and so I thought it would be nice to bring a little treat for their new teachers! Aaron actually gets to have a "Meet & Greet" afternoon with his teacher tomorrow, so this is perfect. It's so fun to spoil my kid's teachers for all of the random holidays throughout the year. I just hope we love these teachers as much as the ones in the previous years, but with such a cute little gift from a cute little boy, how can the year go wrong? At least we are starting out on a good note!
"With You As My Teacher...I'll Be One Smart Cookie"
You can find the tag printable here. The ladies from Eighteen25 posted the printable and their cute idea for a back to school gift, and I immediately went and printed it out...like an hour after they posted it:) It was just perfect!
I printed out two copies on some fun card stock and then used my "Bags & Tags" cricut cartridge to cut out the little popcorn boxes. I used the "fit to page" feature to make them as big as possible on a 12x12 piece of cardstock. They are about 6" tall and were perfect for holding 8 small chocolate chip cookies.

Adorable! Thanks for sharing the link for the printable.

These are just the cutest things. Love the tags, love the cookies, love the packaging. All of it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea. I'm sure the teachers will be most apprecitative. In reading your profile I was struck by your comment regarding the "best years of life." I recall reading one of James Herriot's books years ago and he was reflecting on his younger life when raising children. He said the same thing - that raising children was the best time of his life. I'm now at that stage of looking back. It truly is a wonderful time and your blog indicates that you're making the most of it. Enjoy and thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteMy son starts kindergarten this year...I'm SO gonna make this one! Absolutely darling! Love it! Thanks so much.
