Quaker Soft Baked Bars

This post brought to you by Quaker Oats. All opinions are 100% mine.
Mornings are hectic in our home. ESPECIALLY Sunday mornings!  "A Day of Rest?" Hardly. Church starts at 9am and we live 20 minutes from the building. I have to be there early every week to play the organ, so we do our best to make things quick. I lay out the kids' clothing the night before, make sure shoes are out and clothes are ironed. Since we aren't all that hungry early in the morning we usually just grab a quick snack as we are heading out the door. A granola bar or cereal type bar.
Last week a box arrived on my door with the Quaker Soft Baked Bar to try. How did they know that this is just we needed? The perfect breakfast snack that is also a wholesome food. Not something that I could say about some of the other breakfast snacks that we had been eating!
What I love about these bars are the FRESH baked taste. I simply opened one side of the wrapper and microwaved the bar for 10 seconds. PERFECT! We tried both the Cinnamon Pecan and Banana Nut variety. Both were amazing, but my favorite was the banana nut. I love anything banana nut, so it wasn't a surprise that I loved the Quaker Soft Baked Bar version. Absolutely delicious and full of crunch since they didn't skimp on the nuts.
Our whole family enjoyed trying these bars and were they perfect on Sunday morning the following week? Absolutely. It's seriously hard to stop at just 1!
Each bar is 140 calories, has 5g of FIBER!, 6g. protein, and are an excellent source of 5 B-Vitamins. The new Quaker Soft Baked Bar helps fuel you with the FLAVOR you want and is made from real fruits and nuts.
So if your family is like our family and eating cereal and milk out of a cup, while driving down the road, has proven disastrous on more than one occasion, you may enjoy a quick and easy breakfast snack idea. One that is, without a doubt, better tasting than cold cereal ;)

I was provided with the product and compensated for my review. All opinions are mine and are true to what I experienced with this product.

  1. I should try these. We have church at 9 as well, so breakfast for William a lot of days consists of dry cereal in a bag and a cup of sippy milk.

  2. They look great! I'll look for them at the store. They'd be fabulous on our rushed mornings before school or on early baseball game Saturdays!
