Could the name of this recipe get any longer? Maybe.
I found these white chocolate candy corn M&Ms in the Halloween aisle at the commissary the other day. I hadn't ever seen them before, are they new? Seasonal, I'm sure. So I grabbed a bag and thought we'd try them out.
I've had a lot of family visiting lately for my Grandmother's funeral services and so I made a big double batch of cookies to bring over and share. They were a huge hit and were gone fast. So if you a bag of these in the candy aisle, be sure to grab some, and make these fun cookies this Halloween!
White Chocolate Candy Corn M&M Cookies
basic cookie dough adapted
Gluesticks
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter , softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large egg
1 package White Chocolate Candy Corn M&Ms
1/2 c. white chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in M&Ms and white chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely
